Yesterday PreSonus announced that its FireStudio Project is now shipping, so if you want a complete recording system you should take a look. This package includes all you need to get a professional quality (24-bit audio processing and 96 kHz sampling rate) recording by yourself.
The PreSonus FireStudio Project is based on the FP10 Firewire Interface but features some improvements like better analog-to-digital converters, LED meters on each analog channel, 5 stereo mix outputs with zero-latency or JetDLL sync. It also features the 8 XMAX Class A mic preamps that already were on the FP10 interface.
This package includes Steinberg Cubase LE software and 25 real-time plug-in effects like compressors, EQ or reverb. The PreSonus FireStudio Project is now available and its price is $499.
