If you like small amps, for recordings or practicing at home, Carr Amps has released a new model for you. The new Carr Mini-Mercury Amp is a Class A 10″ version of the Mercury amp with the same electronics and the same vintage design featured in the bigger model.
The Carr Mini-Mercury Amp features 8, 2, 0.5 or 0.1 watt because of the power attenuating circuit, 1 JJ E34L power and two 12AX7 and one 12AT7 preamp tubes, 10″ Eminence “Lil Buddy” hemp cone speaker, tube reverb, 3-way boost switch and treble cut switch.
This amp produces a crunchy sound like 70s amps and doesn’t change its tone at any volume nor switching the power output. The availability of the Carr Mini-Mercury Amp has to be announced yet, but its list price is $2,250.
