This is a very interesting summer release, the result of a Line6 and Bogner collaboration is a hybrid amp called Spider Valve that combines the best of digital amps with the classic tone of the tube amps. There are 3 different models from this serie, Spider Valve 212 and Spider Valve 112 combos, and Spider Valve HD100 head amp.
The Line6 Spider Valve Amps feature 12 amp channels (6 models with 2 modes each, from clean to insane distorted sounds), 7 built-in digital effects (like tape echo, delay, chorus or flanger) with up to 3 at the same time, two 12AX7 preamp and two/four 6L6 power tubes (2 in the combos and 4 in the head version), 36 user presets, more than 300 artists presets, XLR direct output, jack input for POD products or other amp and effect modelers and built-in tuner.
The Line6 Spider Valve 212 and Spider Valve 112 combos feature 40 watt power output and 2 and 1 Premium Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, respectively, while Line6 Spider Valve HD100 head version feature 100 watt power output and can be played through the Line6 412 Cab (slant or straight models) with four 12″ Premium Celestion Vitange 30 speakers.
