Allen & Heath has released a new mixer series introducing, by now, only one product. The new Allen & Heath ZED USB Mixers are compact devices that can be used for live shows, recordings and production tasks with computer because of its USB port. The first model of this series is the ZED-14 mixer.
The Allen & Heath ZED-14 USB Mixer features 6 mono and 4 stereo channels, 3-band EQ for mono channels and 2-band EQ for stereo channels, up to 13 independent tracks to the mix, DuoPre preamps, 2 pre-fade and 2 post-fade aux sends, mic and line inputs for mono channels and Stereo RTN on RCA and 2TRK on RCA for stereo channels.
Allen & Heath has collaborated with Cakewalk in this product so they can include the Sonar LE software. The Allen & Heath ZED-14 USB Mixer is now available and its approximate price is $550.
