The following package to the MegaStudio Producer from PreSonus is a package specially designed for the artists, to easily record their own music and even create music videos. The PreSonus MegaStudio Artist is based on the FireBox interface and includes a software pack that has everything you need to record your music and videos.
The PreSonus MegaStudio Artist includes the FireBox 6×10 firewire interface (with 2 analog inputs and 6 analog outputs with mic/instrument preamps), Steinberg Cubase LE recording, Sony Vegas Movie Studio DVD production and Sony CD Architect burning software, virtual instruments (like Reason Adapted, SoniVox PreSonus VI and Amplitube LE virtual instruments and amps), real-time effects (like SFX Machine virtual synth, MasterVerb reverbs or Camel Crusher compressor) and drum loops (like Discrete Drums PreSonus Edition) and sound effects.
Like MegaStudio Producer this package includes Tunecore.com (with uploads to the iTunes store) and Broadjam.com memberships that will allow to share your music on the net and instructional DVDs with more than 4 hours of tutorials about the software and the hardware included in the package. The PreSonus MegaStudio Artist will be available during this month but its price hasn’t been unveiled yet, but it will probably be similar to the MegaStudio Producer pack, around $650.
