Following the Behringer Pedal Releases and the Mic Releases, here we have the mixers that were released during August. The mixers are Behringer Europower PMP2000, Gemini MM-3000 19″ Professional, Allen & Heath Xone:42 and Pioneer DJM-700.
The new Behringer mixer looks big but when you take a look at the features you realize that some other mixers with these features are much bigger. the Behringer Europower PMP2000 features 2 x 350-watts stereo system, 10 channels, 6 mono, 3 stereo and CD/tape inputs, 100 built-in 24-bit effects like reverb, flanger, delay, etc., 9 transparent mic preamps with +48V phantom power switch, 3-band EQ per channel, 9-band graphic EQ and stereo or double mono amplifier modes. The price of this mixer is $300.
The second mixer is the new Gemini model that although the official site hasn’t any info yet, there some specifications and photos on the web. The Gemini MM-3000 19″ Professional is a 5-channel mixer that features 3-band EQ per channel and 2-band mic EQ with cut function, 8 line, 2 phono/line and 3 XLR mic inputs, LED display and iPod connection. The price for this one is $250.
The next one is the Allen & Heath Xone:42, the new product from the Xone line. This mixer features 4 stereo channels, 3-band EQ per channel, X-FX system with level control that allows the connection of an external effects processor, gain, 60mm VCA faders, 45mm VCA crossfaders and voltage control filter controls, USB port, XLR mic, 2 phono/line and 2 line inputs and headphone, dedicated booth and balanced main mix outputs. The price of this mixer is €1,100.
And the last one is the new Pioneer mixer from its professional DJ gear line, the Pioneer DJM-700. This mixer features 4 channels, MIDI connections with 49 assignable controls including knobs, faders and switches, 32-bit digital signal processor, 13 built-in effects, effect frequency filter and works in PC and Mac with software or plug-ins. The price of this last mixer is also €1,100.
