In some sites there have been some rumors about the new products in the POD line, even with some photos (like the one above with POD X3 and POD X3 Live models). There are also some specs but all looks like too early to say if they are true or not, but I think that POD family products need a face wash since, for example, POD XT was released in 2003 and POD XT Live in 2004.
Some interesting features that are being released, I don’t know if they’re true or not, are dual amp modeling at the same time, direct connection with Variax Guitars, new amp packages, connections for stacks or combos so POD can be used as a multi-effects unit or XLR input for a mic.
I’m sure Line6 is working on new models and probably will be very similar to these ones, but we’ll wait to the official announcements.
