Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique with Mahogany Top

Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique with Mahogany Top

Another Guitar of the Week model has just been released, this time a classic Les Paul model with a cool finish, I always liked this one. The Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique with Mahogany Top has the slimmer neck from the ’60s Les Pauls, but that also seems to be the only different feature from other guitars.

The Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique with Mahogany Top features mahogany body and neck, LP slim neck profile, rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, ‘57 Classic and ‘57 Classic Plus humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch and two volume and two tone with push/pull pots controls.

You can see that specs are not so different from other Les Paul guitars, so we can look at the price to see if this guitar worths buying it. The production run of the Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique with Mahogany Top will be limited to 400 units and its price and availability have to be announced yet, but the price will be probably between $1,700 and $2,000.
