Gibson Flying V New Century

Gibson Flying V New Century

We are going to introduce you the two models of the Guitar of the Week series that we miss, the first one was the 31th week model, the Gibson Flying V New Century, belonging to the New Century series. That serie tries to give a twist in the guitar finishes introducing them to the 21st century, at least is what Gibson says.

The Gibson Flying V New Century features mahogany body and neck, ebony fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece (both of them chromed), 496R (neck) and 500T (bridge) humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch and two volume and one tone controls.

But them most original feature is the carbon fiber pickguard combined with the ebony finish and the chromed screws that give that modern look. Of course the Gibson Flying V New Century’s production run will be limited to 400 units, is now available and its price is $1,150.
