There have been some interesting news since our vacations, but we want to start our return with the new effect pedal from Seymour Duncan, the Seymour Duncan SFX-07 Shape Shifter Tap Tremolo. This seventh effect pedal from the pickup company is an all-analog pedal with digital tremolo timing that will provide a big range of tremolo sounds combining their control levels.
The Seymour Duncan SFX-07 Shape Shifter Tap Tremolo features true bypass, on/off and tap rate (that allows you to select the tremolo speed in the ratio mode) switches, depth, shape (this control allows you to increase or reduce the volume variation produced by the tremolo effect, in the middle position it behaves like a traditional tremolo), wave and rate (1/4, 1/8, triplets or 1/16 notes) controls and ratio (in this mode the tremolo speed is adjusted by yourself or by the rate control) and rate (in this mode the pedal automatically changes continuously the speed from one to twenty cycles per second) mode switch.
The pedal has a gauge steel chassis that makes it almost unbreakable, a good road company if you want a tremolo effect. The price and availability of the Seymour Duncan SFX-07 Shape Shifter Tap Tremolo pedal has to be announced yet.
