Gibson ES-339 Semi-Hollowbody Guitar

Gibson ES-339 Semi-Hollowbody Guitar

One of the most interesting releases of last days was the new Gibson ES-339 Semi-Hollowbody Guitar, a smaller version of the ES-335 that keeps all the sound characteristics that made the ES-335 one of the most desired semi-hollowbody guitars. This guitar has the same size than a Les Paul but with the same design features of its predecessor (the f-holes and the centerblock).

The Gibson ES-339 Semi-Hollowbody guitar features laminated maple body, 1-piece mahogany neck (there are two neck versions available, the 30/60, the Gibson slim and wide neck, and the ‘59 profile, a little bit fatter), rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, ABR-1 bridge, stopbar tailpiece, two ‘57 Classic Humbucking pickups, 3-way pickup switch and two volume and two tone controls.

The guitar is available in antique vintage sunburst, antique red and light caramel burst finishes and until the end of the year can be only acquired through Musician’s Friend. The price of the Gibson ES-339 Semi-Hollowbody Guitar is $1,799 and we don’t know when it will become available since you only can pre-order it at this time.
