After a brief hiatus, Music Gadgets is back with the new distortion pedal from Hartman Electronics, the LM308 Op-Amp Distortion pedal. This distortion pedal will do the trick for bands that want to get the 80’s punk and new-wave sound and comes in two different flavors, LM308AH and LM308N models which main difference is that the second one features a higher treble response.
The Hartman Electronics LM308 Op-Amp Distortion pedal main feature is the LM308 Op-Amp built back in the 70’s that will provide you that particular sound. The other features are two-mode working, A mode with a diode-clipping stage that has a crunchy sound and SYM mode that converts the pedal into an overdrive pedal with a hot output signal, true-bypass footswitch, on/off and distortion mode LED indicators and distortion, filter and volume level controls.
The pedal is only available in black color and has Chinese zodiac’s symbol for the Rat in the up-side. The Hartman Electronics LM308 Op-Amp Distortion pedal is now available and its price is $189.99.
