One of the last releases by Ibanez in this Summer NAMM was an addition to the classic RG series, the Ibanez RG Prestige RGR1570. This guitar features reversed-headstock but there’s one thing I never like about these guitars, the volume control is too near to the strings, somebody could think is an advantage, for me it’s annoying.
The Ibanez RG Prestige RGR1570 features basswood body, 5-pieces Wizard Prestige maple/walnut neck, rosewood fingerboard, 24 jumbo frets, 25.5″ scale length, Edge Pro double-locking tremolo bridge, one Ibanez IBZ V7 humbucker (neck), one Ibanez IBZ S1 single-coil (middle) and one Ibanez IBZ V8 humbucker (bridge) pickups, 5-way pickup switch and one volume and one tone controls.
The guitar includes a Prestige hardshell case and is only available in suede black finish. The availability of the Ibanez RG Prestige RGR1570 has to be announced yet but its list price is $1,066.65.
