
AXL Guitars has released the Badwaters series, but this time for bass guitars. Bass players can now enjoy the reptile texture in a very affordable instruments, the series include two models AP-820-CKBW and APJ-820-CKBW, let’s see the differences between them.
The AXL Badwaters Series Bass Guitars feature basswood body, bolt-on rock maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 20 frets, 34″ scale length and Antiqued Classic bridge. The main difference between the two models are the pickups, AP-820-CKBW model has one EMG-designed split pickup and one volume and one tone controls, while APJ-820-CKBW has one split and one single-coil pickups with two volume and one tone controls.
This bass guitars are available in crackle b/w, off-white and brown finishes, the first one has a reptile texture finish, the off-white has a vintage, almost relic, finish (looks like a inherited guitar from your grandpa) and brown finish, well it’s just brown. The price of the AXL Badwaters Series Bass Guitars are, $249.99 for the AP-820-BR model and $259.99 for the APJ-820-BR model.
