Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom 2 P-90 Pickups

Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom 2 P-90 Pickups

The first non Summer NAMM new in 4 days, at least! (some of you are saying). Today’s tuesday so the 28th model of Guitar of the Week series is here, its name is Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom 2 P-90 Pickups. This guitar with the antique ebony finish and the gold edge… I’m sorry but I don’t like it very much.

The Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom 2 P-90 Pickups features mahogany body with maple top, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, two P-90 pickups (although the official site says ‘57 Classic and ‘57 Classic Plus), 3-way pickup switch and two volume and two tone controls.

Of course, the production run will be limited, as always, to 400 units. Price and availability of the Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom 2 P-90 Pickups have to be announced yet.

Although in the next ten models of Guitar of the Week there are some SG, Flying V and Explorer, I think Gibson has a lot more guitars that all the Les Paul flavours, I’d like to see some archtop models or maybe some acoustic guitars, not more Les Pauls with different finishes.
