Tregan Guitars were at Summer NAMM to introduce some of their new guitars that are designed to be used by beginner and intermediate guitar players. One of the guitars they were introducing was the Tregan Guitars Syren, this guitar is available in standard and signature versions whose main differences are the bridge, the fingerboard and the preamp, standard models feature a Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, ebony fingerboard and no preamp, while signature models feature licensed Floyd Rose Tremolo bridge, rosewood fingerboard and active/passive switch preamp.
The Tregan Guitars Syren features mahogany body with quilted maple (Signature I model) or flamed maple (Signature II model) top, mahogany neck, ebony/rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, 25.5″ scale length, two alnico V humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch and one volume and two tone controls.
These guitars feature a special design with deep cut-aways to easily reach all the frets. The price of the Tregan Guitars Syren models has to be announced yet but they will be available in September.
