
Guild introduced at Summer NAMM some new acoustic and acoustic/electric guitars including the Guild Contemporary CO-2 acoustic and the Guild Contemporary CO-2C acoustic/electric guitars. Both guitars have similar features but the main differences are CO-2C model features a single venetian cut-away, D-TAR Wave-Length pickup and preamp system and volume and tone controls and two adjustable trim pots (low and high frequency).
The features for these New Contemporary Series Guitars are solid mahogany body with solid red spruce top, 1-piece mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, 21 frets, 25.5 scale length, ebony bridge and high gloss finish.
Both guitars include a hardshell case and are available in natural, antique burst and ice tea burst (only CO-2 model) The MSRP are $2,499.99 for the Guild Contemporary CO-2 and $2,699.99 for the Guild Contemporary CO-2C.
