There were some more models released by Guild in Summer NAMM under the Contemporary series, the Guild Contemporary CV-2 and the Guild Contemporary CV-2C. These are acoustic and acoustic/electric guitars respectively, and their main differences are the Florentine singe cut-away, the D-TAR Wave-Length pickup and preamp system and volume and tone controls and two adjustable trim pots (low and high frequency).
The guitars feature solid flame maple body with solid red spruce top, 1-piece bolt-on mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, 21 frets, 25.5″ scale length, ebony bridge and high gloss finish.
The Contemporary guitars are available in antique burst, blonde and ice tea burst finishes and include a hardshell case. The MSRP for these guitars are $2,799.99 for the Guild Contemporary CV-2 and $2,999.99 for the Guild Contemporary CV-2C.
