When you don’t have space enough in your room or studio for a full-size drumkit, mechanic or electronic, you need a compact digital drumkit. Yamaha has just released a new one, the Yamaha YDD-60, that belongs to the digital electronic drum machines series and is playable with your hands or with a drumstick, with many different sounds and an auxiliary input to play along your favorite music.
The Yamaha YDD-60 drumkit features eight touch-sensitive pads, two foot pedals, 254 percussion and 25 phrase voices that can be independently assigned to each pad, 50 pre-programmed drum kits, 100 preset songs, master EQ, built-in reverb effect, 4-track recording up to five of your performances, USB MIDI interface that allows to load your favorite songs to play along them, LED display, two 5W amps and headphones output.
This digital drumkit can be ppowered by six C batteries or with an included AC adapter. The Yamaha YDD-60 will be available this August and its price will be $239.99.
