Although the next ten Guitar of the Week’s models have been unveiled, the unveiled list doesn’t include full specs and as there are still some fans of the Guitar of the Week series around, including me, here we’ll continue introducing them to you. The 27th week model is the Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique Faded Cherry, a very good looking guitar that is very similar to an original Les Paul.
The Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique Faded Cherry features mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, ‘57 Classic (neck) and ‘57 Classic Plus (bridge) humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup and two tone and two volume controls with push/pull pots.
The Faded Cherry finish gives it a classic and pretty looking… a very interesting Les Paul model. Price and availability of the Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique Faded Cherry have to be announced yet but, as all the models, its production run will be limited to 400 units.
UPDATE (07-25-2007): The Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique will be available in September and its price will be $1,699.95.
