It looks like the half-year model of the Guitar of the Week series (yes, we already past half year) doesn’t have the problems the previous models had (bad specs page, prematurely released models, …). The chosen one for this week is the Gibson SG ‘61 Reissue Classic White that is very similar to 6th week model of the series and is a remake of the 1961 new SG model that was released by Gibson with a thinner body.
The Gibson SG ‘61 Reissue Classic White features mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Tune-o-matic bridge with N/P stopbar tailpiece, two ‘57 Classic humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch and two volume and two tone controls.
The guitar has a classic white finish with nickel hardware, a cool combination. The Gibson SG ‘61 Reissue Classic White production run will be 400 units and its price and availability has to be announced.
