I don’t know if Gibson is getting tired about the Guitar of the Week guitar series or someone pushed again the upload button too early but when I first visited the new week’s mode page it was unfinished without any photo and the specifications were not completed, some time after the page returned an error and then a final page was uploaded. Anyway, 25th week of this series has gone to Gibson Les Paul Studio with BFG Electronics, a studio version of the recently released Les Paul BFG model.
The main differences between a traditional Les Pau Standard and Les Paul BFG are the pickup configuration, the volume and tone controls and the 2 pickup switches. So, the Gibson Les Paul Studio with BFG Electronics features mahogany body with maple top, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, P-90 neck pickup, chrome covered humbucker bridge pickup (the guitar page gives wrong information), 2 pickup switches (kill switch and mini-toggle) and 2 volume and 1 tone controls.
As every week, the Gibson Les Paul Studio with BFG Electronics production will be limited to 400 units. Price and availability will be announced soon.
