Paul Raven is one of the most known bass players and producers of the industrial music world, he has played with Killing Joe, Murder Inc, Prong and Ministry and has produced many other bands. Pro Tone Pedals has released a signature effect pedal for bass and guitar (although Raven was a bass player), the Pro Tone Pedals Raven Dirty Chorus, that reproduces the chorus sounds used by Raven in all the bands he has been.
The Pro Tone Pedals Raven Dirty Chorus features true bypass, overdrive, speed and depth controls (named dig, kill and eat), Chop Chop (turns the chorus pedal into a vibrato effect pedal) and Kaw (adjust the bass frequency to provide more flexible tones) switches, on/off super bright LED and footswitch and aluminum housing (to make sure you don’t crash it when you hard stomp it). The raven drawn in the background has been designed by Felix LaFlamme, an artist influenced by comics and punk rock.
There two versions of this pedal, the Deluxe Raven Edition that has all the features mentioned before and the Standard Raven Guitar/Bass editions that are specially designed for each instrument and don’t feature the Chop Chop and the Kaw controls. The Pro Tone Pedals Raven Dirty Chorus is now available and its price is $249 for the deluxe version and $199 for both standard versions.
