We introduced you some days ago the last wireless mics from AKG Acoustics, now they have released a new wireless system that can be used with that mics and three more options. The AKG WMS 450 Wireless System’s applications include live shows (vocals and guitar/bass), conferences or presentations, and can manage up to 12 simultaneously wireless channels.
The AKG WMS 450 is a plug-and-play wireless system that scans the interference-free available bands (includes country frequency bands database) and assign the founded bands to the transmitters through infrared, that method will improve the set up process saving a lot of time. It also has a rehearsal function that will help you finding dead spots in the room, a wide frequency range and a high SNR (signal to noise ratio).
This wireless system is available in five formats, with C5 or D5 handheld mics, C555 MicroMic headset or C407 L lavalier mic for vocal tasks (singers, presenters or lecturers) and MKG L cable for guitar/bass tasks. Except C5 and D5 versions, that come only with the receiver, all the packs come with SR 450 station receiver and the PT 450 bodypack transmitter. The AKG WMS 450 Wireless System is now available and the price for the different formats are, €529 with the D5 handheld mic, €639 with the C5 handheld mic, €639 with the C555 MicroMic headset, €579 with the C407L lavalier mic (presenter set) and €529 with the MKG L cable for guitar/bass.
