Earlier this year AKG released two ultra-durable mics designed for the most hard tasks, its success make AKG to think about a wireless version of these mics. Here we have, the AKG C5 & D5 wireless mics (models C 5 WL 1 and D 5 WL 1), both of them to be used with the WS 400 wireless system from AKG.
The AKG D5 & C5 wireless mics are dynamic and condenser mics, the D5 features laminated varimotion diaphragm, supercardioid polar pattern, 70 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range, -52 dBV sensitivity, 76 dB SNR and XLR output. The C5 mic features cardioid polar pattern, gold plated transducer, 65 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range, -48 dBV sensitivity, 69 dB SNR and 24-carat gold plated pins XLR output.
Both of them can be used for stage, speech or vocal tasks and none of them will reproduce anything but your voice (the maximum gain is before the feedback). Availability and price of the AKG D5 & C5 wireless mics have to be announced yet.
