The digitalkonnekt x32 is a patchbay, format converter, audio interface and hardware integrator all-in-one, a link between all your digital gear and you DAW that will allow to switch between formats, sample rates or get analog outputs for monitoring.
The T.C. Electronic digitalkonnekt x32 features 8 AES and EBU, 8 S/PDIF and TOS and 8 ADAT channels, word clock input and output, patchbay front panel to eliminate the need of re-wiring the gear configurations, jitter elimination function, sample rate conversion (from 44.1 to 192 kHz), Firewire ports (up to 16 simultaneous connections to/from the DAW), integration of any hardware like a VST or AU plugin and four routing and configuration setup storage ro re-call whenever you want.
The analog output provided by this device are stereo and headphones outputs. The T.C. Electronic digitalkonnekt x32, which is only available in 1U rack unit format, will be available next month and its MSRP is $1745.
