Designed in collaboration with their own customers that feedback suggestions and complaints, I suppose, TFPro has released a new studio tool, a mic amp/compressor that has been called TFPro P110 Studio Recording Channel. This new product is indicated for the recording of real sounds on the studio, like voice recording and tracking.
The TFPro P110 features a transformer based mic amplifier (uses Class-A multiple amps), phase shifter with switched polarity option and 180 degrees variable phase, optical compressor/limiter with 1.2 to 1 ratio and 4-option switchblade control to select other historic compressor sounds, 4-band EQ (low, low mid, high mid and high controls), analog VU meter, that can show the output level or the gain reduction in the compressor, and master volume output control.
This amp/compressor can be rack-mounted (2U) and is all made of steel except for the aluminum front panel. The TFPro P110 Studio Recording Channel price will be around €1,500 but its availability has to be announced yet.
