Another one in the series, the 21th week of the Guitar of the Week is for Gibson SG-3 Fireburst, you should not confuse it with the Gibson SG-3 that was introduced during Winter NAMM 2007, but you’d sure confuse it, as I did, with the Gibson SG Standard with 3 single-coil pickups that was released as week 10th of Guitar of the Week, they look very similar.
The Gibson SG-3 Fireburst features swamp ash body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, three Blade single-coil pickups, 6-way pickup switch (all the pickup combinations in pairs) and one volume and one tone controls.
This guitar comes with a hardshell case and as all the models from the Guitar of the Week series the production run will be limited to 400 units. The price and availability for the Gibson SG-3 Fireburst has to be announced yet.
