Cortex has released a new product in its professional line of DJ products, a turntable that can also play music from external devices, including storage devices and CD/DVD readers. The Cortex HDTT-5000 Turntable combines the traditional DJ vinyl tasks with the new digital formats to give the DJ the maximum range of possibilities to do the job.
The Cortex HDTT-5000 Turntable features a touch-sensitive digital turntable platter (that can also work as a jog wheel), pitch slider and control (the control is ultra-precise with increments of 0.05%), master tempo control, key adjust, instant reverse, 12 built-in DSP effects (including filter, flanger, echo, delay, …), backlit LCD display and five USB ports for storage devices like iPod or USB flash memories (the turntable can playback this MP3 or WAV files, do tag or string searches inside the libraries and device selection).
This turntable also allows to connect a USB keyboard to make easier the search of songs inside the music libraries and search through the storage devices with the same folder organization they have. The Cortex HDTT-5000 Turntable is now available and its price is $899.95.
