In 20th week of the Guitar of the Week series, Gibson has introduced a Les Paul Studio with a very cool satin ebony finish. The Les Paul Studio is based on the Les Paul Standard but with some modern innovations that improves its playability and its tone.
The Gibson Les Paul Studio Satin Ebony features mahogany body with carved maple top, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, two EMG pickups (we don’t know the model yet), 3-way pickup switch and two volume and two tone controls.
This guitar comes with a black reptile hardshell case and, like all the Guitar of the Week models, its production run will be limited to 400 units. The price and availability of the Gibson Les Paul Studio Satin Ebony has to be announced yet.
