Seymour Duncan has released a new effect pedal unit, this time for bass players and it’s not exactly a effect pedal. The Seymour Duncan SFX-06 Paranormal is a direct box, allows you to direct connect to a mixing board or a recording console, but with some added features that make it more interesting, like the EQ. If you always wanted a bass guitar with active pickup system but you didn’t want to change your instrument’s pickups, take a look at this.
The Seymour Duncan SFX-06 Paranormal features 3-band active EQ optimized for bass guitars, true bypass, 12dB gain range (boost or cut), -92dBV sensitivity, Slap Contour system (that boost the EQ to give you the perfect tone for slapping technique), 1/4″ single ended and balanced XLR outputs and bypass and slap contour footswitches.
This pedal can be powered by 9V battery or a 9-12V DC adapter and its chassis has been build with 16 Gauge Steel to make it very resistant. The Seymour Duncan SFX-06 Paranormal is now available and its price is $139.95.
