Fender has teamed up with Victor Bailey, fusion bass player and former touring bassist of Madonna, to launch a new acoustic signature bass model, the Fender Victor Bailey 5-String Acoustic/Electric Bass. Victor Bailey has used his experience in playing bass with many artists like Weather Report, Michael Brecker, LL Cool J or Mary J. Blige to design a very personal instrument and a very high-quality bass guitar.
The Fender Victor Bailey 5-String Acoustic/Electric Bass features laminated dao body with laminated spruce with dao top veneer, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, 34″ scale length, rosewood bridge with compensated saddle, Fender/Fishman Classic 4 active on-board preamp (with Saddle-Fishman Sonicore Under Saddle pickup and body mounted ACLR sensor), volume, bass, mid, treble, brilliance and body (that allows you to blend from Fishman pickup to ACLR sensor) controls.
This bass guitar has a very cool natural finish and comes with a deluxe gig bag. The Fender Victor Bailey 5-String Acoustic/Electric Bass is now available and its recommended price is $849.

Might be worth a mention that the bass is also available in a four-string version (hence the four-string bass on the picture).
