This one could be in our list of strange guitars because the Mada Caimes from Mada Guitars is a semi-acoustic guitar which body is made from hemp pulp. Mada Guitars says that the hemp pulp allows to build a very good resonant guitar body.
The Mada Caimes features 2-pieces hemp pulp body with mahogany sustain block, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 25.5″ scale length, Gotoh 510 Tune-o-matic bridge, two PAF humbuckers pickups, one volume and one tone controls.
This guitar looks like is only commercialized in Australia, we don’t know if it will be available worldwide but its price, €2,950 will make the Mada Caimes a guitar only for some lucky people.
