Also, I played an older one plugged in at a store, and found the overall tone to be nice and shimmery, but the bass strings had no bite at all. In fact I probably would have considered buying it, but I play a lot of acoustic funk music, where those single string percussion notes have to cut through. This older model just didn't cut it....
