Fender has re-released the guitars from the Electracoustic Series with some new improvements and design. The first model we are bringing you of this series is the Fender Stratacoustic Deluxe, and acoustic version of the Strato that features a real Strato neck and a Telecaster pickup.

The Fender Stratacoustic Deluxe features laminated maple body with laminated spruce top, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 25.5″ scale length, Fender Rosewood with compensated saddle bridge, Fishman Classic IV MB preamp, one single-coil Telecaster pickup, built-in electronic tuner, volume, bass, mid, treble and blend (blends between the Telecaster and the Fishman pickups) controls.

The guitar comes with a gig bag and the available finishes are black and sunburst. The price of the Fender Stratacoustic Deluxe is near $600.

    Has the top-heavy problem been fixed?
    Also, I played an older one plugged in at a store, and found the overall tone to be nice and shimmery, but the bass strings had no bite at all.
    In fact I probably would have considered buying it, but I play a lot of acoustic funk music, where those single string percussion notes have to cut through. This older model just didn’t cut it….

    I’m sorry but I don’t know if this problem has been solved, it could be a good idea to have some clips in the specs page (like Gibson does in some of their guitars) and you could hear if the problem have been fixed.
