The 17th Gibson’s Guitar of the Week is here, this time the model is a SG guitar with a white pickguard that covers almost all guitar top, this pickguard features a classic satin finish. Besides that, the Gibson SG Special White Jazz Pickguard is a classic SG but its two humbuckers aren’t covered.
The Gibson SG Special White Jazz Pickguard features mahogany body and neck, ebony fingerboard, 24.75″ scale length, Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, 490R (neck) and 490T (bridge) Alnico magnet humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch, two volume and two tone controls.
Like all Guitars of the Week, the production run of this one will be limited to 400 units. The price and availability of the Gibson SG Special White Jazz Pickguard has to be announced yet, but I’m sure the price will be very similar to the others (near $2,500).
