We forgot to bring you last week’s Gibson Guitar of the Week. Week 15th was a new Les Paul guitar, the Gibson Les Paul GT that is much like the classic model but without the flames drawn in the top. It conserves the Fire Red Engine finish.
The Gibson Les Paul GT features mahogany body with maple top, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, 24.75″ scale length, Tone-Pro Chrome Tune-o-matic bridge with Tone-Pro Chrome stopbar tailpiece, 490R Alnico magnet (neck) and 498T Alnico magnet (bridge) humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch and 2 volume and 2 tone controls (all of them with push/pull system).
The guitar comes with a black reptile hardshell case and its production run will be limited to 400 units. The Gibson Les Paul GT is now available and its price is $2,549.99.
