If you own the PreSonus FireStudio interface you may take a look at this new accessory, the PreSonus Monitor Station Remote (MSR). This device is a speaker manager that will make easier your work with the FireStudio, it connects to it through a Cat 5 Ethernet cable.
The PreSonus MSR features 3 different modes (track, with 9 stereo mixes for headphones; mix, 3 sets of stereo monitors and; surround mode, surround mix and 5.1 surround control), stereo/surround switch button, dual headphone amps, main speaker, phone 2, phone 3 and talkback level controls, monitor source selector (SPDIF, main or aux), talk, mono, mute and dim buttons, independent surround and stereo controls, remote input (RJ45) and mic and phones 2 and 3 outputs.
This remote controller is now available since PreSonus started shipping it this month. The price of the PreSonus MSR is $199.99.
