Superlux has a new model in their ENG series, the Superlux E523/D, a compact lightweight X/Y stereo field recording mic for live sound recording tasks like broadcasting, audio recording or mounted in a camera.
The Superlux E523/D features a matched pair of capsules in X/Y configuration (2 cardioid mics angled 90ยบ from each other), built-in switchable low cut filter, external on/off switch, 30 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, 70 dB SNR, an integrated low-frequency roll-off switch, 2 balanced XLR outputs and produces minimal handling noise.
The Superlux E523/D includes a 5 m. stereo cable, a mic clamp and a protective pouch, but you also can acquire the screw adapter and camera mount. Price and availability have to be announced yet.
