We talked about the new Gibson Zakk Wylde guitar, but we forgot to talk about the Marshall Zakk Wylde amp that was released a month ago. The Marshall Zakk Wylde Microstack features 1 head amp and 2 cabinets (one of them angled) but in a compact form and with the bullseye trademark from Zakk Wylde in the front-panel of the head.
The Marshall Zakk Wylde Microstack head amp features 15W output power, 2 channels (clean & overdrive), spring reverb, CD input, emulated line and headphones output, volume control per channel (overdrive channel also has gain control), 3-band EQ (bass, contour and treble), master reverb control and FDD (frequency dependent damping) technology that emulates the sound of a tube in the power amp section. The cabinets are two 1×10″ cabinets.
This stack looks like a normal-sized Marshall stack and its sound is pretty near a Marshall stack sound. The Marshall Zakk Wylde Microstack is available and its price is $349.95.
