sE Electronics will release a new model to replace the sE3 model, the sE4 mic that has similar features but a different chassis to allow interchangeable mic capsules. The model will be available in single and stereo pair versions and both of them will have 3 different capsules to change.
The sE Electronics sE4 mic features cardioid, hypercardioid and omni mic capsules, 20Hz-20KHz frequency response, phantom power, 3-pin connector, included full suspension shockmounts, hi spec black aluminum, steel reinforced and flight cases. Although they are very similar the capsules will not fit the sE3 mic.
This mic is expected to be available this summer. The price of the sE Electronics sE4 single-version mic is €239 and for stereo pair version is €489.
