Almost one year ago Gibson acquired the company that popularized the jukebox, Wurlitzer. This company was founded in 1856, so more than 150 years of history building jukebox, musical instruments and vending machines. One of the first jukebox models, introduced in the early 40’s, is the Peacock Model 850 and now Wurlitzer is releasing a CD version of a 1941 Wurlitzer Peacock Model 850, that was one of the most sold models.
The Wurlitzer Peacock Model 850 Jukebox Replica features all the details from the original model including marbleized plastic and color animations but updated to nowadays expected features like CD capabilities, sleek LCD lighting and better internal functionality. Of course this replica will be only affordable for collectors and die-hard Wurlitzer jukebox fans.
