Fender will release a very limited edition of the Fender 1961 Stratocaster Relic LTD Builder Select that belongs to the Custom Shop Limited Edition Series. This guitar is masterbuilt by John Cruz and its production run will be limited to 100 units, so I can imagine this guitar will get a very high price.
The Fender 1961 Stratocaster Relic LTD Builder Select features select alder body, plain grain maple neck, dark rosewood fingerboard, 25.5″ scale length, American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo bridge, 2 John Cruz Master Designed single-coil (neck and middle) and 1 Dimarzio Tone Zone Humbucker (bridge) pickups, 5-way pickup switch, master volume (with S-1 switch to select humbucker or single-coil bridge pickup) and 2 tone controls.
