Zaxcom has announced at NAB 2007 that the ZFR800 Hand-held Recording Mic is now shipping. This product, as previously released TRX900 and ZFR100 is indicated for audio recording tasks that require mobility or no wiring.
The Zaxcom ZFR800 is a time code referenced recording mic that features 24-bit A/D resolution, recording up to 8 hours of uncompressed audio (in a 2 GB memory card), miniSD card recording, WAV or MP3 recording, built-in time code reader and generator, tolerant to recording faults, RF receiver (to remote control and sync), ergonomic keypad (can be used with one hand only), headphone output, small backlit LCD display, very low distortion, 20 Hz to 20 KHz frequency response and high pass filter.
Although the Zaxcom ZFR800 is now shipping we couldn’t find any information about its price.
