Although some guitar players already use them, 8-string guitars had never gained as much popularity as 7-string guitars, but Kahler has released versions of their tremolo and hybrid bridges for 8-string guitars. The models released are Kahler Tremolo 2218, 2228, 2318 and 2328 and Hybrid 7228 and 7328.
The Tremolo 2200 Series bridges are designed for carved top guitars and feature adjustable brass for each string for perfect space and accurate intonation. The Tremolo 2218 bridge features 360HH brass cam and 303 stainless steel saddle, while 2228 bridge features 360HH brass cam and 360HH brass saddles.
The Tremolo 2300 Series bridges are designed for flat top guitars and feature adjustable saddles (side-to-side, front-to-back and up or down). The Tremolo 2318 features 360HH brass cam and 303 stainless steel saddle, while 2328 bridge features 360HH brass cam and 360HH brass saddles.
Hybrid bridges are locking/floating tremolo bridges that feature adjustable saddles. Hybrid 7200 Series are stud mounted and designed for carved top while Hybrid 7300 Series are flat mounted, designed for flat guitars and feature on-board fine tuners.
