We talked about the Fishman Ellipse Aura preamp and now the same technology will be used in the new Fishman pedals, the Fishman Aura Acoustic Imaging Pedals. This pedals have been designed to eliminate the need of a mic setup and on-stage noise having a professional-quality sound in acoustic guitars.
There is one Aura Acoustic Imaging pedal for each major acoustic guitar (dreadnought, flat top and full size guitars; concert, small body guitars; orchestra, middle-sized guitars; jumbo, large body flat topped guitars; nylon and 12-string). Each pedal features 16 images to cover all the sound possibilities of that type of guitar, volume, blend, and phase controls, 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion and 32-bit internal processing.
The Fishman Aura Acoustic Imaging Pedals will be available in the 2007 late Spring, but their prices are still unknown.
