BBE Sound has released a new DI box that joins the DI-1000 and DI-100x models, the BBE Sound DI-50x Active Box that is, at least at the moment, their smallest DI model. DI boxes are used by many PA systems or in recording studios to get a balanced output from a unbalanced signal.
The BBE Sound DI-50x Active Box features two 1/4” inputs (input and thru), one balanced XLR output, –15dB input pad and ground lift switches, resistant metal chassis and can be powered through a 9V battery or 48V phantom power supply.
This DI box comes with a 5 year warranty and its price will be $149. The availability of the BBE Sound DI-50x Active Box has to be announced.
