Straub has released a new head amp that can be used at home, studio, small live shows or for huge shows, the Straub Twisted Triode 12 Watt amp. This all-tube amp features the twisted triode (2A3 power tube) that provides 0 negative feedback and Class A tone with only 12 watt output power.
The Straub Twisted Triode 12 Watt features two 2A3 triode power, two 12AX7 and one 6SN7 preamp and one SS rectifier tubes, 3–band EQ, master volume and gain controls and boost switch.
Like all Straub amps, the Twisted Triode 12 Watt is hand-wired and the amp case is made from sapele mahogany. The price and availability has to be announced yet.
