
The 11th week of the Gibson’s Guitar Of The Week series is a Thunderbird bass that was originally released in 1963 and reissued in 1987 with new design and some new features. The Gibson Thunderbird IV Zebra Wood Bass is based on the reissued model of 1987.
The Gibson Thunderbird IV Zebra Wood Bass features Zebra Wood wings body, mahogany and walnut neck, rosewood fingerboard, 34” scale length, 20 frets, 3–way adjustable tailpiece, 2 TB Plus ceramic magnet humbucker pickups, 2 volume and 1 tone controls.
This bass guitar comes with an exotic natural satin zebra wood finish and black hardshell case. The production of the Gibson Thunderbird IV Zebra Wood Bass is limited to 400 units as all Guitar of the Week models.
