Warren Haynes (ex-Allman Brothers and Gov’t Mule guitar player) and Gibson teamed up to build a custom guitar based on a 1958 Les Paul Standard, the Gibson Warren Haynes Les Paul Standard.
The Gibson Warren Haynes Les Paul Standard features mahogany body with maple top, 1–piece mahogany neck (1958 re-issue neck profile), rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, TonePros bridge and tailpiece, Gibson’s Burstbucker 1 and Burstbucker 2, 3–way pickup switch, CAE SOUND unity-gain (buffer pre-amp that maintains the tone at any volume level) and 2 volume and 2 tone controls.
The Gibson Warren Haynes Les Paul Standard comes with Custom Shop case and certificate of authenticity with Haynes signature. No word on production run or pricing. The guitar also features a signature finish, Haynes Burst finish.
